Agency Description:

The Kokua Hawaii Foundation supports environmental education in the schools and communities of Hawai'i. 'AINA In Schools is a program of the KHF that is aimed at connecting students to their land, waters and food. Volunteers are needed to assist with the Garden Based learning and Nutrition Lesson Component.

Special Requirements:

Nutrition Docents are required to attend nutrition lesson trainings 4 times a school year and are required to assist with at least 4 lessons. The Garden Projects happen 3 times a school year at each school, and require no training.
